Maine APSE

The Network on Employment

We value work as an integral part of an individual's life. We support the choice of individuals with disabilities to seek, obtain and maintain competitive employment in their communities.

Maine ASPE sees Work as a Natural part of Everybody's Life.

Plans/Goals:

  • Offer access to training throughout the state, such as web-based APSE, TASH or other trainings at a lower cost
  • State Conference - relavant topics for Job Coaches and Employment Specialists, as well as individuals with disabilities
  • Increase numbers of individuals with disabilities employed in the state, with annual reports showing the increases.
  • Showcase true competitive employment success stories
  • Be seen as a viable source of information on employment for individuals with disabilities, for employers, state officials, and others.
